Frank Mastronuzzi joins Tim and John to share the story of how he launched a relationship-focused dating site created specifically for the LGBT community—oneGoodLove.com. It’s the result of his experience working at Match.com, where he realized there were no sites created specifically for the LGBT community by the LGBT community. The site has grown to 35,000 users, adding 150 new registrants a day.

Tim and John welcome author Erin McHugh, who just published the political send-up Coffee, Tea, or Kool-Aid: Which Party Politics are You Swallowing? She has written 20 books on a wide variety of subjects, from travel to gay history, kids’ books, and has held a number of executive positions in the publishing industry. Erin lives in Manhattan and South Dartmouth, Massachusetts—a Road Trip of 203 miles, door to door. Business banter and Tim’s List are also on the agenda.

Tim and John are on the road, and broadcasting from the 2010 Out & Equal Workplace Summit in Los Angeles, CA. The Summit is the premier annual global event focused specifically on workplace equality for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Programming is targeted to LGBT employee resource groups, HR and diversity professionals, and LGBT and ally executives who take the learned materials back to their places of work to share, discuss, adapt and implement.

In Tim and John’s case, the Sirius XM New York studios were closed for emergency repairs, which sadly means no live show. Tim and John welcome back Rich Kiamco, an award-winning performance artist and stand up comedian, who when he was last on The Focus Group, was on a quest to create a new comedy show by doing “90 mics in 90 days.” Rich is appearing in The Laugh Tour with Jessica Kirson, hosts Speakeasy Comedy, a monthly comedy show & open mic contest at Star Bar in Jersey City, and also hosts a monthly open mic at Zinc Bar in New York City. We’ll wrap up the show with another installment of Tim’s List.

In hour one of Vintage Focus Group, Rose Arce, Senior Producer of CNN’s “In America” with Soledad O’Brien, talks about the making of “Gary And Tony Have a Baby.” In the second hour, Anthony M. Brown, Esq., who is profiled in the CNN piece and is now a proud father, discusses his long history of fighting for the rights of gay couples and families.

Leah Kohl joins Tim and John this Saturday to talk about yoga—the business of teaching it. She has a background in dance and also has a certification with Stott Pilates. Students who take her class can expect a challenging workout. How does your passion change when you adopt it as your career? The teaching aspect requires a unique skill set as well. Lots of ground will be covered, and Leah’s experiences should relate to many other fields.
