05.08.18 | State lawmakers in Oklahoma and Kansas approved legislation to grant legal protections to faith-based adoption agencies that cite their religious beliefs for not placing children in LGBT homes, similar to laws in at least five other states. Interestungly, backers of the Kansas bill acknowledged that faith-based agencies have been operating in Kansas for decades without issue. Amazon puts the brakes on fundraising for a known hate group, and Disney releases Mickey pride ears.
