Many know Tim for his role as co-host of the popular six-time Emmy-nominated Project Runway, a reality-based fashion design incubator, the eighth season of which broke all previous seasons’ ratings records. His remarkable career includes 24 years at Parsons School of Design, two books, host of “Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style,” and an appearance in the Marvel Comic Models Inc.

igltaThis Saturday, Tim and John will be broadcasting from the annual IGLTA (International G/L Travel Association) conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL., and will introduce eight “new” destinations that are putting out the welcome mat for G&L travelers. The format is based on speed dating, and each destination has a set amount of time to make an impression. Tune-in to pick the locale you will want to put on your list the next time you are planning a vacation.

On Saturday, May 21st, Tim and John welcome Tim Gunn to the Focus Group. Many know him from his role on Project Runway, but it’s his successful career in the fashion industry that will be front and center during his visit.

tonicWith summer just around the corner, it’s time to add a new twist to a favorite drink. Tim and John welcome Jordan Silbert, founder of Q Tonic. While working at the Downtown Alliance in Manhattan, Jordan was struck by a gin‐induced flash of inspiration to make a superior tonic water. He spent his nights and weekends mixing up different tonic water recipes in his kitchen for friends. He gave birth to Q Tonic in 2007, delivering it to his first accounts himself in his station wagon. Next up for Jordan? Q Ginger—finally, a superior ginger ale.

He serves as Executive Producer on three exciting new films: Master Harold And The Boys, a film adaptation of Athol Fugard’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play; Burning Blue, a film adaptation of the London hit stage play directed by David Greer; and In The Pits, a documentary film about the intense debate around whether or not Broadway musical theater should convert to virtual orchestras.
